SpaceX launched 20 Starlink satellites to low Earth orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base on a Falcon 9 rocket. The mission, Starlink 9-17, included 13 satellites with Direct to Cell capability. Liftoff occurred at 6:50 a.m. PDT, and satellite deployment was confirmed by 11 a.m. EDT. The Falcon 9 booster, B1075, completed its 13th flight and successfully landed on the droneship ‘Of Course I Still Love You,’ marking its 102nd landing. The California launch coincided with preparations at SpaceX’s Florida pads for upcoming NASA missions, including the Europa Clipper flight.
