Adults in some U.S. states can now buy gun ammunition from AI-powered vending machines in local grocery stores. The manufacturer claims it’s safer than online or off-the-shelf sales, but experts worry about increased availability amid widespread gun violence. American Rounds LLC has these machines in eight supermarkets across Alabama, Oklahoma, and Texas, with plans to expand to Colorado and beyond. CEO Grant Magers says they are working on fulfilling orders for about 200 grocery stores nationwide. The Dallas-based company recently gained national media attention.
