Rumors suggest all four iPhone 16 models will use the A18 chip, supported by code changes found by Nicolás Alvarez. Five new iPhone models identified in Apple’s backend code, all powered by the A18 chip, align with Apple’s naming conventions. Previous iPhone 15 models were split by chip type, with lower-end models using the A16 Bionic and higher-end models using the A17 Pro. This year, all iPhone 16 models are expected to use the A18 chip, with the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus also increasing RAM from 6GB to 8GB.
