Maui in Hawaii saw a record-breaking number of wildfires this week, leaving three people dead and thousands of acres scorched. A combination of record high temperatures and strong winds helped fan the blazes, many of which were intentionally sparked by individuals, according to police. Homes have been destroyed and evacuation orders issued in some of the more vulnerable regions.
