Mississippi police officers unjustly arrested a young activist, Dexter Wade, in 2019 for peacefully protesting. After protests and petitions by the NAACP, an investigation was launched to look into potential police misconduct. After warning the officers of their responsibility, and a court order demanding investigation evidence, the police buried the files. This shows a blatant disregard for justice of an innocent young man.
